Update: The PLR membership is now OPEN and is currently $27.00/month until I reach my target number of subscribers. At that point I'll increase it to the regular price of $47.00

You can get to the sales page here:-

http://www.plahh.com/

***
Tomorrow (Thursday) I'll be re-opening my PLR membership at a temporary reduced price, and I'll reveal that price now. It's just $27 a month for PLR to TWO product sets.

Or put another way, it works out as $13.50 each…

But that price is only valid until I fill up my remaining slots to make the membership viable for me to continue to run. (It's been touch and go.)

Each month you'll get PLR to 5 sales page designs, PLUS additional PLR to either a WordPress plugin or theme, or a PHP script or other program, or a special report or video set created by me.

It's a pretty good deal.

Just the five sales pages alone are worth your membership.

Ask anyone. If you were to pay to have ONE sales page created for yourself, they'd cost you $47-$97 depending on who did them for you, and all you'd get back is the design with uneditable PNG or JPEG files.

With the ones we supply you get Private Label Rights to the entire pack of 5, PLUS all the PhotoShop PSD source files. In addition we make sure there are no hard-coded text in graphics (wherever possible) and in the few cases there are, we also supply blank JPEGs or PNGs so you can use your favourite graphics editor to add your own text.

Okay?

As for the cost of developing the WordPress plugins and themes, you're talking anything from five hundred to two thousand dollars and upwards – go find out for yourself. So I think it's fair to say that every month you're getting between $750 to $2000 worth of products you can rebrand and call your own.

At the special relaunch price of $27 it's not just a good deal it's a smoking deal!

***

First I'd like to give you a bit of background about the membership. I opened it in November last year, and everything went fine until about March when my one and only designer took an office job in Singapore. He still does some part time work for me.

Then I had to fire one of my plugin developers as he was supposedly working full time for me and (when he slipped up) we found out he was also working "full time" for one of my friends. (No wonder he was getting slower and slower…)

This left me with a full time plugin developer and a part time designer.

And then to make matters worse, my remaining developer decided to go look for an office job too and also went part time in June.

While this was all going on I just couldn't find the right people to fill the gaps left behind and from April until now I've been struggling to fulfill the promise of 2 monthly PLR products as part of the membership.

It even got to the stage last month where I'd just about decided to close up shop on the membership as I couldn't see how I could continue to deliver products like I had been – I'm certainly not a designer or a plugin developer.

And then out of the blue I picked up two new designers, one of whom can create WordPress themes. Hurrah!

I then (by accident) found a part timer who is now in training to become my full time PA and Project Manager in March 2012.

But the icing on the cake is I also found a new full time coder, AND just this week my part time developer has increased her weekly hours to almost full time.

Suddenly I have a full set of staff and that makes the membership viable again. And I also have enough "give" in there to make sure that if someone leaves then the membership won't suffer like it has this year.

***

To kick off the relaunch of the membership with a bang tomorrow, I'm adding in some extras. So instead of you joining and getting one month's worth of products, I'm including a few more bits and pieces too.

The current product set is for August, but I've left July's active too. September's will be ready next week.

So when you join tomorrow, you not only get July and August's membership products, you'll also get September's too when I add it in a few days time.

That's THREE months worth of membership in this first month. (For existing members I'll put something else in so you don't feel left out.)

Forget pretty good, forget smoking, this is a RED HOT deal.

But ONLY when you join tomorrow at just $27 / month.

When I fill the minimum membership slots I need, then the price goes back up.

I'll give you some additional details tomorrow and re-open the membership at 6.00pm GMT (1.00pm EST).

-Frank Haywood.

Please note that this is for email subscribers only. The email you should have received will contain an auth code for the licence, just print off the email or make sure it's nice and safe somewhere.

Please don't contact me saying you didn't get the email and I could I re-send it. Or similar. The answer's no.

I'll repeat this again. This is for email subscribers only and the email contains an auth code. The email and the auth code together make up the licence. One is no good without the other.

Okay?

***

I've decided to…

…do something a little crazy.

I've been thinking about this for a while, and my gut instinct was to say "Yes, do that." but I felt I had to think this one out for a bit and rationalise it to myself.

(Did you know we all do that? We make decisions based on what we *want* to do, and then rationalise it to ourselves to justify what we've already decided to do or done. Aren't we all a bit funny? Anyway…)

This is what I've decided to do.

Everyone that's bought or buys ANY of my WordPress plugins or themes up to 31st March 2011 gets a full client / blog flipper licence. Keep this email or print it out as your proof I've granted you that licence.

What this means is that if you build a blog with any of your purchases up to the 31st March, you can sell the blog (flip it) with all plugins included and still use the plugins on your other sites. You can repeat this as many times as you like.

My definition of blog flipping is YOU own the top level domain, develop it to the point where it's actually worth something, ie it's getting traffic and earning money, and then you sell it for about or at least $200.

Fair enough?

Also, if you develop sites for your clients using the plugins or themes you've purchased up to today, then that's fine too.

No extra purchase is necessary in either case, but you'll have to issue a document (paper or digital) explaining that there are premium plugins or themes used on the site, and that support is NOT included with them.

They'll need to purchase individual plugins if they want support for them – use your affiliate link if you like (scheme still being worked on – we'll get there this week).

What it DOESN'T allow you to do is sell the plugins or themes. Or give you a loophole by which you can do so – please don't abuse these rights I'm giving you.

If you want to make money from sales of these plugins and themes, send people to me if you want to do that using your affiliate link.

I think that's very fair, and…

This is just a thank you from me for being there as a subscriber.

When (finally! *sigh*) the PluginGreat site goes live and the affiliate scheme too, with all plugins and themes at full price…

Then anyone buying the plugins or themes will have to purchase a flipper/client licence too if that's how they intend to use the plugin.

Until 31st March, any plugins or themes you buy or have bought to that point include a full client / blog flipper licence. IF you have the email and auth code issued today.

Sound good?

-Frank Haywood

Just a quick post to say I've updated this blog using this theme and software:-

I've had my eye on it for quite a while now, but it seemed that development had stopped and the company was being sold, but not any more. Now development is full steam ahead with lots of point releases coming out all building up to a full version 6 release.

It's relatively expensive, but you can get it at the lowest price for at least the next few days – the word is the price is going up when v6 is released.

It's well worth every penny at any price, and I'm gradually upgrading all my niche blogs to this new platform.

When I've got to grips with the over 70 plugins that come with the theme I'll do a proper review of it, but that could take some time as there's so much in there.

In the meantime, the theme itself comes with 27 skins, and I've chosen one that is clean and simple and is very similar to the previous one, so it shouldn't all come as too much of a shock to you.

Update: v6.0 RC1 has now been released, so if the price is going up when the full v6.0 is released, now would be a good time to get it.

I thought I'd tell you about a plugin I installed a week or so ago that has completely removed all automated comment spam from this blog.

It's called Clickcha and what it does is present a small random clickable image with instructions on where to click such as "click the smallest number" or "click the biggest square".

The beauty of this is only a human would know where to click. So all those spammers using tools that automatically leave spam comments on blogs are out of luck.

Interestingly, it seems that ALL comment spam has stopped. In fact, even those comments I used to get that were what I would call borderline spam have stopped too. I used to deal with those by looking at the URL, and if it was anything to do with herbal remedies or gambling etc, I'd mark it as spam and let Akismet deal with it for other blog owners.

So just stopping to think about that one for a moment, it seems to be true that there's a lot more automated blog comment spam must be going on than you'd think.

In fact Akismet hasn't had to deal with one item of spam since I installed Clickcha.

That's pretty cool and is definitely a plugin worth getting.

Update: I've had a couple of problems getting Clickcha to work properly on another site and I had to edit the comments.php in order for it to work. I've also had a subscriber (hi Larry) tell me that he clicked the smallest number and it deleted his comment from this blog. I've also just found a load of comment spam in Akismet, so Clickcha doesn't quite seem to be doing what it's supposed to at the moment and I've now deactivated it. The concept is good though, so lets keep our eye on that one.

I've just found out about a new service Pawan Agrawal is doing for all us WordPress blog owners.

As WordPress updates the software (currently 2.8.1 as I write this), then inevitably, some older plugins fail. This can be really annoying, and it's probably happened to you like it has to me.

What Pawan has announced he will do is take on development of older plugins.

Yee-haa.

This is pure Marketing GENIUS on the level of X-Factor and Pop Idol.

Think about this for a moment.

People will tell him what their favourite plugins are, and that they are no longer being developed. As the licences for many plugins are open source of one kind or another, he can safely and legally take on the development of those older (but popular) plugins, and in doing so they become HIS.

Think a bit more, and you'll realise that just like the X-Factor (people vote by phone), other people are doing the market research for him, and finding popular plugins he can easily make his own. And he's building a network of people who have committed to use the plugins they've asked to be revived – they're pre-sold.

Better still, there's no new development work to be done. Most of the code is already written, and it's likely that in most cases it's just a minor fix to revitalise the plugin again.

In doing so, Pawan becomes the owner of the working version of the plugin.

Because most of these failed plugins are likely to be small amendments in order to get them to work again, it's almost a case of products and advertising for free.

And of course, Pawan gets to pick and choose the ones he wants to do and we ALL reap the benefits.

But especially Pawan.

Now THAT is a true win-win, which is just the kind of thing I love.

You can go "vote" for your failed plugin below.

While doing research for a report on autoblogging, and looking for a tool that would allow you to post to WordPress remotely, I (eventually) came across this blog by 5ubliminal.

It's well worth signing up to as the owner has released some pretty cool plugins and you'll only get them if you sign up due to his very nice pp:Morpheus plugin which I've just purchased.

If he had an affiliate scheme I'd join it. And if it was a WordPress plugin I'd buy it.

And after purchasing the pp:Morpheus plugin I DEFINITELY want to buy his WordPress store plugin when he releases it, it's just what I've been looking for to use on this site, although I guess I'd want a slight tweak to it. From my recent shopping experience there it allows you access to additional content by adding an access token to your subscriber account on a blog.

The tweak I'd want doing to it is to optionally (on a per-post basis) make some content available to all existing subscribers, but make new subscribers pay for it. Tie that in with an affiliate scheme and it would be bloody awesome. I don't swear often so I think you can tell what I think about that idea.

If you decide not to look at 5ubliminal's blog or even subscribe, then at least take 2 minutes of your time to read this and have a chuckle. 5ubliminal is my hero just for creating this page alone.

http://www.5ubliminal.com/

5ubliminal message: I would very much also like a WordPress plugin that allows me to gather subscribers and email them from within WordPress. It would need SMTP support so I could use a service that I like called AuthSMTP.com to ensure email deliverability. Actually I think a lot of people would like that. Thank you.

I came across a blog the other day that used some strange sounding plugin name, and the plugin for some reason relied on connecting to the publishers site to do something or other. The publishers site must have been down and so the page was never drawn, it just sat there for ages.

I've just noticed the same thing with my own blog after I'd activated the ShareThis plugin the other day. I wondered why I'd deactivated it, and of course clearly I'd forgotten it causes my blog to hang.

So I've turned it off again.

Annoying isn't it?

I've no added the KeywordLuv plugin to make your comment enjoyment much more satisfying.

What this means is you can now make a comment with a link to your web site, and also add your keywords to your name in this format:-

Frank Haywood@internet business

Your name will then appear as:-

Frank Haywood from internet business

Now is that cool or what?

If you run a Wordpress blog (if not, WHY not?) I strongly suggest you go get this plugin and install it.

Why? Because it will encourage more people to make comments on your blog, and comments mean content, and we all love that don't we?
