<description>Alan - I have an email account that I use for subscribing to the bulk of things on line. I do a quick 30 second scan each day at the around 30-50 emails that come in, and I might read one or two, and occasionally I'll click through.

And sometimes, I'll copy the email into a folder called "Well Written Emails" to use as a crib sheet at a later date. Let's face it, if I stopped to read it, there must be something about it worth looking at.

Steve - Yeah that's a cracker I'd completely forgotten about. Nice one.

Frank - Focus is almost the opposite of motivation. A strange thing to say I know, but consider that most motivation is stimulated by a temporary emotional response. Whereas focus is a long term habit you can learn to make a part of your life.

		<description>Spot on, Frank.

It took me longer than I would have considerd to realise that *focus* is what makes the difference.

So, just like Alan, I have also been 'housekeeping' in preparation for a brand new push in 2008.

I wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and, of course, a Prosperous New Year.

Frank

		<description>Never a truer word, Frank.
You are absolutely right, I have been busily unsubscribing this week. Re subscribing with another email address for those I think will be of value later (this doesnt go to my Outlook) and just sticking with the three that I know will take me to that first Island.
Your one of them of course.
